The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

3.0

“I couldn’t tell if I was depicted as rescuing Alicia一or about to throw her in the flames.”

Alicia Berenson murdered her husband, then refused to utter another word. Her new psychotherapist is determined to make her break her silence. I think it was a really good idea, and the plot was promising, but the end fell so flat, and left way too many questions in my mind once I really thought about it all, like what happened to other characters, or why Alicia felt certain ways about certain people. I feel like there was more fluff than plot in this one. I did figure out the twist, but that didn't affect my rating.
