Blood of My Monster by Rina Kent
5.0
5/5⭐️
Umm…I’m still reeling from the ending.
This book was so spectacular and passed all my expectations. It has a bit of Mulan in it. Sasha joins the army and pretends to be a male to find out who killed her family. She meets the captain, Kirill, who gives her a chance and trains her.
The freaking tension! The tension started at the 21% mark I believe and it’s glorious. Kirill is known for being apathetic, but the way he reacted at the end to Sasha. OMG! I just can’t wait for the next book. This might be one of my favorite series ever. I don’t know how I’ll last until March.
Rina Kent never disappoints me with her books and I know I’ll love Lies of My Monster in March.
Also lemme just say, Karina is so adorable. The way she says she wants to kill Kirill, but secretly loves him is the best.
