Helena Hunting is killing it with this new hockey series!! I'm not usually a huge fan of age gap, but OMG Hollis and Aurora were so good together. Their tension was palpable immediately and I was rooting for them from the start. If I expect anything from Hunting's books at this point, it's always good humor, great character development, and delectable spice. All three and more were delivered. I loved seeing the girl squad as well as the cameos from Rix and Tristan and how happy they are. I also really enjoyed Aurora's relationship with her father and how important that was in her life. Of course, I always love a hockey romance and this had some great tropes including Dad's best friend and forbidden attraction among others. The chemistry was beyond felt and I was living for the spicy and vulnerable moments these characters had throughout the story. I just wish a little more communication occurred so we saw more of Hollis and Aurora's relationship, but overall I loved this book so much!
