The Silent World of Nicholas Quinn by Colin Dexter
2.0
When I started reading this, I realized I'd read it years ago, but didn't really remember it and had failed to write a review. Wish I had - would have saved me the tedium of wading through this ridiculously complex and confusing book. Note to self: DO NOT READ THIS AGAIN!!
WELL, four years later and I sure wish I'd read my review. What a tedious, uninteresting book. The only thing it has going for it is that it brings home directly to the reader the boring and incessant grilling of suspects by Morse - over and over and over. Fifty-six pages from the end I'd finally HAD it and sought to look at reviews - and by golly, there I am, a ghost from the past warning me - STAY AWAY!! DON'T BOTHER!
