All the Murmuring Bones by A.G. Slatter
2.0
I've never in my life read something as dreary as this. This whole book is a giant ramble, and the main character is flaky and overdramatic and everything is made out to be far, far more serious and grim and it needs to be. Even the smallest issues are world ending here. None of the characters have believable writing, and the story only picks up after its half over. And even then it's so dull, dull, dull. And with all the rambling you'd think they'd go in to enough effort to make me attached to a person or place, or even give me good details but no, all the rambling is just the main character rambling in her head.
It took me a month to finish it solely because i dreaded reading it and procrastinated on it forever. I only give it two stars instead of one because I'm surprised i actually finished it, so it wasn't entirely devoid of a story after all even if it felt like it was.
