This is one of the few R&J retellings that I’ve really enjoyed! I love this authors writing and how she tells a story. There were quite a few POV’s in this one but for the most part pretty easy to follow. And I knew this was also a Chinese mythology story as well of Hou Yi & Chang’e, and once I didn’t a quick search for info I instantly saw the vision.
This is a super cute YA story. The romance was ok but I felt it moved quickly. There wasn’t a lot of depth and I think because of how many moving parts we had and the story being told, this is where it suffered. But overall I really enjoyed!
