Type of read: Commuter Read.

What made me pick it up: This was a random list find while looking for books to read on our Italy trip.

Overall rating: I know I say this about a lot of books (I suppose it helps that most of my reads are random from lists) but I went into 'Little Monsters' with zero expectations. I was pleasantly surprised! It was a little predictable, but not hugely. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. I do think Thomas tried to make some of the characters more dark and moody than necessary and relied a bit on cliche to try and get that message across. But overall, I enjoyed 'Little Monsters' as a quick, simple read.
