Tayari Jones is officially one of my favorite authors writing today. This book follows three different children during the Atlanta Child Murders. It doesn’t focus on the murders themselves, but on the children and how they cope living in such a high-stress/high-fear situation. Everyone is scared, but also day to day life goes on. Tayari Jones inserts you into the lives of these children and their minds. It captures childhood so well and is brilliantly written. I loved this book.
