You aim to read 6 books which are set in OR are written by an author from 6 different countries in each of the 6 continents. You cannot count books of the same country twice; you cannot count one book for more than one country.
NOTE - The United Kingdom is made up of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales. These are not considered independent countries for this challenge.

The 6 continents are:
Africa
Asia (includes the Middle East and SE Asia)
Europe
North America (includes Central America and the Caribbean)
Pacific (includes Antartica)
South America
