Overview
The natural world needs humans to rethink our socialisation. The current model based on Domination , i.e. using power Over rather than using power With and For, is destroying the planet, and ourselves. Our mental and physical health depends on us engaging with one another and Mother Earth differently. New vocabulary and organic thought processes are needed towards building concepts and values inherent to a "Dare to Care and Share" model of living at all levels. I have taken on this challenge for myself over the past few years. Now, on this new platform, I would like to share the possibility of creating with others what being free to give and get care, be caring and supportive of others, assisting in each one's development collectively and individually might look like on the ground. Our aim could be to bring Ethics of Care into the social-political-business and academic dialogue on par with Utilitarianism, Kantian, Hegelian, Ancient Greek thought process, all the while possibly demonstrate itself superior to these abstract and linear binary paradigms when applied to the management of our everyday lives, as well as governmental decision-making. This includes material of indigenous and ethnic wisdom, non-western material, books that describe what Ethics of Care organised life would look like, often called Utopian, which signals to me a desire to be rid of what we are subjected to currently. The books can be in any language, I just ask that the reader be ready to offer a synopsis or summary for those who do not read in those languages. For example, our collective desire to read translations could stimulate the books' publisher to do make that happen, thereby opening the writer's readership, improving the book's circulation. Bonus: When I and 5 others or more have completed the same book I offer, at no cost, at least one Zoom session of an 1.5 hr. where we can meet and discuss and share live.
