Hosted by Mayor Amelia and Farmer Jeremy - Join this challenge on their OFFICIAL DISCORD where you can submit your reads, see what you earn, and more! Each Festival / Monthly Theme within A Year in the Valley, will receive it's own Challenge (due to how the challenge is setup this is the easiest way to setup on Storygraph). Due to how the Festival of Eggs will be run, we will not have prompts listed ahead of time. To view the prompts in real time please join the Discord. Since the minimum required books is 3, that is what is required to complete this challenge, but if you prefer a challenge, you must read at least 6 books.

  • Book with Perfume on the Cover

  • Book with a Crown on the Cover
  • Book with Glass on the Cover
  • Book with Letters/Mail on the Cover
  • Book with Only TWO Eyes on the Cover
  • Book with Egg(s) on the Cover
  • Weather on the Cover (Rain, Snow, Wind, etc.)
  • Moon on the Cover
 
Rules: 
  • For the Egg Hunt, you will be required to find books 'scavenger hunt' style. You will be given a prompt at random intervals throughout the month and you will need to find books that fit that prompt.
  • You can use 1 book for multiple prompts if the same book happens to fit more than 1 prompt.
  • Easy Mode: To receive the Golden Pumpkin, you will need to read at least 3 of the books you find. You can receive both the Golden Pumpkin and Prize Ticket if you read at least 6 books. 
  • Hard Mode: You do not have to read all the books you find. However, to receive the Prize Ticket, you will need to need to read at least 6 of the books you find during the month. 
  • DNF and books started before the month are allowed as long as you've read at least 50% in the month. Books must be minimum 100 pages.
  • You do not need to find every single egg/book during the month. Do as many as is fun for you.
