Jessica Brody is my new Morgan Matson.

I just love how cheesy and cute this book was. Also any book that's even a little bit like the Groundhog day is an instant like for me.

This was my second book by this author and each one was cuter than the other, definitely looking forward to her other books.

I love repeating day books. They are my favorite niche genre. And I really wanted to love this book. However, if feels like exacy a week was maybe too long. The book could have been shorter, some of those repeating days dragged on with not a lot of changes to justify.

Like in the movie Groundhog's Day, Ellison Sparks is stuck repeating a single Monday until she gets it right. It was super cute, and actually rewarding to watch Ellison figure things out.

The main character is not a fun protagonist to read about. She’s whiny and doesn’t treat her bestfriend with the respect he deserves.

As much as I love a good time loop, I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did! There were some genuinely funny moments and Ellie's journey of self-discovery was pretty endearing as she navigates who she – and she alone – wants to be.

SpoilerI thought the romantic build-up between Ellie and Owen was well done, building in a way that felt natural and subtle. I also appreciated that Tristan isn't this totally unlikeable character; the six part 'The Way We Were' chapters are threaded through the narrative in a way that illustrates why Ellie and Tristan were together, why Ellie wants to preserve this relationship, but also why the relationship isn't meant to last.

Well, i didnt really read this book. I just read parts from each monday (usually the first two chapters) and maaan i like ellie sparks (but also not idk lmao) and that thing with owen in the end.....dont get me wrong i like owen he's this shy and sweet guy buuut i feel like it is kinda unnecessary? like it should take more time? (agh idk just my opinion) (i feel like my opinion would be different if only ive read the whole book lol *shrugs*)
