This was so absolutely boring. I guess maybe, it's me, who really only wants to hear about the beginning of the end of the world aka, book one, Hater... which I enjoyed.
The rest of the series was kind of a boring mix of everything with your typical run of the mill post apocalyptic storyline. Search for someone, stay away from bad people, find your place in this new world... etc etc. It's a bit of an overdone, saturated world and if you don't do anything to make it memorable, it doesn't stand out. Sad. Book one gave me hopes.

Overall a decent apocalyptic series. No explanation is ever given for what made the Haters into Haters. The series never leaves you leaving warm and fuzzy, but I suppose it's a fairly accurate representation of what would happen in the event of a large-scale societal collapse. Endless killing and mini-despots claiming and maintaining power through whatever means are necessary. McCoyne's small good turn at the end of the book does nothing to negate the terrible things he did earlier in the story, but to his credit he realizes this. Glad to finally wrap up this series, I read the first two books clear back in 2011.

Them or Us... in the end they're really all the same. A great end to a great thought provoking series. It did drag a bit in length but it was worth it to plow through the slower pace of the novel.

The ending saddened me but it was still an excellent read.

Moody's in full stride here -- loved how he gave humane qualities to the inhumane, and visa versa. A great ending to the trilogy!

not as good as the first?seemed a bit slow and I kept wondering where it was going.. didn't seem to have a point. I liked the second halfbetter as it picked up speed.

Another really good installment. So poignant to the modern mindset, and actually address the paradigm shift that needs to happen in our society.

Having read and really liking the first two books in this series (Hater, Dog Blood) I was going into this third installment with high hopes of being blown away with a super, fantastic, apocalyptic battle to end all battles between Unchanged and Haters. Unfortunately, that took place at the end of Dog Blood and I must have forgotten about it. Them or Us is the tale of what happens to the very few of both breeds of human survivors and their struggles to make sense of the world that is left for them. It is still a good, poignant read, that closes out the series respectfully.
