I had the opportunity to read Taunt Me by Charmaine Louise Shelton and if you have read the Steele series of books, you know Luc and Blair. I loved finally seeing their love story unfold in it's entirety and not just glimpses. OMG, Luc...talk about expect the unexpected. You feel a wide range of emotions throughout this book because there's an age-gap, love after loss, best friends daughter, and she's had a thing for him since she was a teenager. The forbidden element is there, but it's a great addition to the stories completion. I forgot that this was a DD/lg book because it wasn't OTT, it was done in a manner that there was the bdsm element without the overt DD/lg feel that some books with this micro trope have done.

Blaire and Luc are absolutely perfect for one another. She understands his grief and his desires and is willing to share in both. She wants to be the one to captivate him and love him. He wants all of her, but wants to keep his friendship with her father in tact, however he'll love her no matter what. This was/is one of my favorite CLS books and I can't wait to see more of these two.

Reviewing Try Me by CM Haines

I think this is my favorite book by her. I read every single thing she puts out but there is something special about Charlotte and Aidan. Charlotte has dated Aidan's brother for eight years before he leaves her at the altar. Aidan is left to pick up the pieces and console the woman he's always loved, his best friend. But as she tries to move on, he realizes he only wants her moving on to him.
I'm a sucker for a good friends to lovers, been in love with her forever book. Throw in the brother ex angle and this book had me glued to the pages. Just perfection.
