This was a good read. The thing about these books, they start slowly, but once the story starts moving you can't stop reading. I love the characters in this series, the Monkeewrench crew, the police team, everyone. I particularly liked the plot of this book and the way it all worked out. There were many conflicts and decisions to be made, moral decisions. I found it all very interesting. These books are a quick, easy read and perfect for in between deeper, more intense novels.

What kind of sicko would hide a dead body inside a snowman? The Monkeewrench team is on a mission to find out. This is my favorite one in the series so far!!

For a Monkeewrench book, there's very little of the Monkeewrench characters in this, as most take a backseat to the local characters investigating the crime - Police Officers being buried in snowmen in the height of winter - and the suspects thereof.
It's not that I didn't like the plot, I did, for the most part. But Iris is a suspiciously Similar Substitute for Grace, if you know what I mean. Another problem is that yet again, the ending doesn't wrap up that well. The investigation isn't exactly closed when the Monkeewrench team leave. Makes me feel like i've read a backdoor pilot for another series, if that's even a thing you get with books.

Another brilliant page turner by the mother and daughter writing duo, the story is fast paced with good twists and turns that keep you guessing. The characters are well written and believable. Well worth a read

Pretty good... though the all men are bad and we women stick together got a bit too much for me. I still love the camaraderie between. The main cop characters and the monkeewrench gang and also the other cast of characters you meet along the way. It’s all believable and feels real.

The Minneapolis Police Department and the Monkeewrench crew are working together again when two murdered cops show up inside snowmen at a park. This is my favorite of the series thus far!

It had been awhile since I read a Monkeewrench novel by the duo P.J. Tracy.
