I have read the contemporary suspense novels this author wrote under the name J L Crosswhite, and loved them. These historical suspense are just as good. Great plot and characters

Great little book!

I've found a New author whose writing i enjoy! This plot was great, believable and suspenseful. I liked the characters and was vested in their getting together.

Who knew what lengths would be taken to get the lumber camp as his own. Bullying done by Jeremiah McCormick goes way too far.
This book will hold your attention from page 1.
