i used to read these stories to my campers at bed-time. they are short, but positive...great for settling down tired, but rowdy girls.

Yeah, it's cheesy but this is a pretty touching, inspiring book at times.

Well needed at times. Dated at others. Positivity is always refreshing.

I find the stories quaint and appropriate for the place I was in at the time that I read this book.

this is my third time reading this book and i think that not only can it bring a lift in self-esttem i also feel that depending on the age and maturity, you can pick the right eddition and get the right type of things to get out of them.

Much like chicken soup, it is occasionally delicious, occasionally tepid, and occasionally complete slop.
