The finish to this series was not bad at all. It was a little slow at first but quickly picked up in action.
Many are unhappy with the ending to this series and I suspect it is because they expected more books. That and the usual "It didn't end the way I wanted!" feeling people can get.
For me, it wass a decent ending to a series I have enjoyed. It gets 4 stars.

I absolutely loved the first two books, and looked forward to this one the way I looked forward to Christmas as a kid. Sadly, I was greatly disappointed, as it fell flat in a way the first two didn't. I also remember when it was first suggested that there would be five books in the series, not three, which I think might have been better because I felt that the Raffe/Penryn dynamic/tension was rushed to a conclusion that I just couldn't really get behind. Not the way I rooted for them in books one and two, at any rate. The action was still high, but we were left with a bunch of what I felt were unanswered questions still (such as Gabriel and his death, unless I royally missed something) and just a total lack luster resolution. I still own the books and will keep them, but this was probably one of my most disappointing reads.

That ending made it all worth it, lol. I had the same problem with this one that I had with the second one. It was a little slow at times, but at least with "End of Days" when there was action it was really exciting. I will say although I liked the ending, it did kind of seem out of place. I'm not sure how best to describe it, because it wasn't rushed, and it didn't come out of nowhere, it just seemed out of place. Other than that, it was a really good fast read

ugh, I hate that we don't get any info about why everything happened to begging with, or why is Penryn family so special... and why is Michael absent all these books? this is such a bad last book.

I really enjoyed this series overall. It was a fairly quick read, as I've read the last two books over the course of five days. I like the general plot line and thought the story went in interesting directions at times, that I was not expecting.
I really love the characters in the series. All of them, like they fit their roles so perfectly and for the most part are well fleshed out. We also get to see more of the Raffe/Penryn forbidden romance thing that's been building pretty much since book one, which is nice. Because I am all about some forbidden romance.
All of that being said, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the ending. The last thirty pages or so I kept thinking to myself, how on Earth is this going to wrap up nice and neat in only thirty pages? It did manage to wrap up neatly, but there were a couple aspects to the wrap up that felt just a little too convenient. I can't say what without spoilers, so I won't. But, yeah.
Perhaps you'll see a more in depth, full review from me later. :)

Con este libro pasó exactamente lo que temía, al principio esto iba a ser una serie como de 5 libros y lo convirtieron en una trilogía y no, faltó mucho, pareciese hecho para salir del caminó.
PD: Leí 20 capítulos y escuché 50.

A good conclusion to the series. I think this book had the best plot out of the three - most of the developments were unpredictable and kept me interested. It was refreshing to read so much originality. Unfortunately, the ending felt rushed and incomplete, even with an epilogue attempting to stitch everything together. Overall the series was pretty satisfying - I got through all three books in a week and it was a fun ride from start to finish.

I LOVED the first 2 books, but unfortunatly this book just fell flat for me. There was such a rise to the battle and then it was over in a blink of an eye it seemed. There were a few parts I actually really did enjoy, but most of the book I thought was just okay. The world building she had so heavily in her first 2 book and in this one it just fell flat. Overall, it was kind of a disappointing end to the series, but most of the ends are tied up.
