Aquí es donde realmente comienza esta serie, la leí por primera vez hace algún tiempo, cuando me di cuenta que no la tenía marcada en GR como leída decidi releerla.

La primera lectura fue voraz y en esta ocasión he entendido muy bien porque me obsesione tanto con esta serie, es verdad que en este libro apenas se ve un 1% de lo que llegará a ser esta serie, pero sienta las bases de lo que son los cazadores, que hacen, como son y quien los maneja.

Julian es un gran personaje y si no recuerdo mal esta no es su despedida de la serie. Se nota que es el segundo libro, el primero no tiene nada que ver con la serie y en este segundo todavía la autora es bastante tibia a la hora de ser cruel con sus personajes.

So much better than the first novel which I could not finish. I think the lore surrounding the dark hunters definitely helped peak my interest.

1st re-read (listen). It's still as good today as it was 10 years ago.

Damn it, now I have to wait for the next book to be shipped to me. I'm loving this series so much. In some ways I'd say it's similar to BDB but that's only because they're both warriors fighting an evil race. Do I love it as much as BDB? At this point I think I might like it more, especially when I know there are different types, or sub races I guess you could say of their people. I love this concept and I see everyday how much fans of this book love all the books in the series. I know it's incredibly big, but because they're standalone series books it's exactly what I look for in a book. I can also sense I won't have the problem of repeat couples like in BDB and for that I'm thankful.

Now I'm off to order a few more books in this series and find something to read in the meantime. Boooooo.
