This is a brilliant collection of short stories in the darker Irish tradition. Don’t come looking for happy endings. These are real people, who react to events in a very real way. It’s completely relatable and brilliantly written. I’m rereading for the third time. If you like Roddy Doyle you will like Kennedy.
