This book was disgusting.

And not for the regular reasons like the male love interest couldn’t say one nice thing about the heroine without sexualizing her, but for an even worse reason I have trouble putting into words. Here are the words I can string together: “attempted murder by vagina” and “lots and lots of cow semen”. If that doesn’t turn you off from reading this book, then I don’t know what will.

God, reading this book was such a waste, but I hung in there because the beginning was promising and I had hope for the ending, but not even that was good!

I thought this story had potential at first because the dialogue was funny and the main male lead in the opening scene made me think of a role Ryan Reynolds’s would play with his sarcasm, but I guess even witty dialogue can’t save a plot in my case.

A great story, filled with action and suspense. The characters were fun and interesting and I really enjoyed it. Can't wait for book 2!

The author definitely has a knack for humor, but there was zero character development and zero plot development. By the end of the book nothing had been solved or explained.

This is a laugh out loud thrill ride. Peter and Piper had me giggling and gasping. I LOVED THIS BOOK!

It was light, silly and good fun. Very much in the style of a Janet Evanovitch or Kathryn Ledson spy/rom suspense. Couple of things that bugged me - Peter never seemed to wonder who knew to send him to Redwood in the first place - big clue missed right there. As for the abductor who's voice Piper recognised at the end - that seemed like a wasted plot point seeing as they were there for all of 5mins.
