3.25-3.5 stars. This book was okay for me. I actually read book 2, Stumbling into Love, before this one and really enjoyed it. So I went back to read this one, but was disappointed that I did not enjoy it as much. This was Fawn and Levi's book. Fawn is jogging one day, with her eyes closed for some reason, and runs into Levi. They kind of yell at each other for the accident and move along on their way. Later, they meet again when Levi moves next door to Fawn's apartment. Levi pursues Fawn, and she resists at first, but the two begin a relationship and fall for each other.
The story was pretty good. I liked Levi, but Fawn was only an okay character for me. She was awkward without much personality. It was hard to see why Levi loved her. The just wasn't much chemistry between them either. Overall, this was not a bad book, but it wasn't anything special or very interesting.

Fawn has given up on men... until she runs head first into her new neighbour... a conveniently hot, single NYPD detective. Fawn is not the most graceful (what with falling over her own feet and, you know, the whole running with her eyes closed) and a series of events that could only happen in a book or a romcom Levi learns that there is more to life than his job.
This book is filled with characters (in the extended families of both the hero and heroine) but the star of the show was Muffin the Irish wolfhound, Fawn's very entertaining rescue dog.
Can't wait to see where this series goes and who is featured in the next book

Really good, short, sweet, insta-love palate cleanser. Excellent secondary characters, so it is going to be another great series for ARR!
This was such a good audiobook! I was a little unsure of it at first because it started off kind of weird but fell in love with Fawn and Levi. They are so cute together! Both of their families are crazy though. I don’t know if I would be able to handle a family like theirs. The only complaint I have is how fast things seemed to move. I would have liked to see more of their relationship building. Possibly going through more. I kept expecting there to be a big fall out and there wasn’t one. It was also weird with the strange random time jumps at the end. I would have enjoyed it to be a bit longer so we could have really gotten a feel for the place they were in years later. Overall I really enjoyed listening to this book. I devoured it once I actually started to listen to it. I would definitely recommend it.
I normally never write reviews but the undertones in this book were annoying. Please create better black characters in the future.
This book was so freakin adorable and completely hit the spot for me. It was low angst, stress free, funny and hot! There is nothing better than being able to read a book that makes you smile from beginning to end.
I love how Fawn and Levi met. Fawn is just a little bit scatterbrained and Levi is the not so nice guy, except when it comes to fawn, well except for their first meet. It was cute and got me excited to see where ARR was going to take the story.
Fawn and Levi both have crazy families and I love how the author incorporated them along with a stubborn dog into the storyline. Great characters, great chemistry, great storyline! ARC provided by NetGalley.
