I always find it interesting to see how people lived. And how many problems and issues that they had to overcome that were very difficult. And the lack of resources that we have now.
Loved, loved, LOVED this book and need my children to read it! William Kamkwamba is inspirational. The perfect example of what we can achieve if we allow ourselves to keep learning and never give up. Absolutely a healthy dose of inspiration and perspective crammed into a little book. What a great surprise, as I had heard nothing about it and picked it up on a whim. Love when that happens!

Book #20 completed for Book Riot Challenge 2018: A book about nature
I guess it was kind of a stretch for this category, but I'll count it. It was so inspiring and interesting to read about William's work to help his family and his country. It was written very conversationally, like he was telling you the story over coffee. What a smart, determined and good-hearted man.

Very, very awesome. (: That's all there is to say!!
Inspiring and humbling. Didn't really enjoy the "magic and monsters and evil spirits" bits though.
