This one is on par with my other favorites from Christie. The characters were pretty fun, but I did have a hard time keeping things straight at the beginning (as per usual for me), but nevertheless enjoyed it once I remembered who was who. It's a fun read and will have you second guessing yourself. I did enjoy the reveal and depressing ending.

This book did not age well, the mystery is alright but racism and misogyny is pretty rampant. I also don't think I really like Poirot very much. He was my least favorite Agatha Christie detective so not too surprised there but he's just so arrogant when you are going through his POV. I know there's a movie adaptation coming out (it's why I rented this one) but now I'll just wait to see the movie when it's on streaming.

I'm really disappointed in this. It's the first time an Agatha Christie book had an ending I guessed at once, and the first I really didn't enjoy.

Death on the Nile lured me in with its captivating cast of characters and Christie's immersive writing. I can be an impatient reader but the journey was so enjoyable that I didn't mind the slow first half of the book. This was a mystery that kept me guessing all the way to the end.
