This was intense! Emotional, impactful, breathtaking and heartbreaking!

“Breathe. Dive into the breath. Let it carry you to the core of yourself, where your strength lies.”

Probably my least favourite of the series so far but the fact that I still think its a 4.5 should tell you everything!

Found a new favourite character in Cunomar, his growth was next level and loved reading anything with him in it!

Itching to start the final book and will do very soon.

The story of Boudica and the "dreaming" continues. This history isn't filled with happy endings for our characters, yet the way Manda Scott presents it with a mix of the mystic is one telling I cannot put aside for long. As soon as I awake in tge morning, or my adulting is done, I am drawn back to the story, It's  on my mind, and hunger for it. Now that I have finished book 3 and I am left in tears for The Boudica, her family, and people, I want to return with book 4, and see how it concludes in.
I highly recommend.

I didn’t think this series could get any better but Scott out does herself with each book; the care i have for each character especially breaca, valerius, corvus, airmid & graine is insane…I feel as if i know them and can care for them as if they were my own blood in this life or another.
