Picked this up for free on Amazon and would not recommend. Hardly any storyline, unbelievable romance and poorly written. Will not be finishing the series or reading anything else by this author.

I received a copy of this book for free from Zoe Adams in exchange for an honest review.

Zoe Adams writes short books that deal with the complexities of love. She can craft the good, the bad, and the ugly in such an artistic and honest way. She frames her stories in such an artful way that is both sensual and raw.

“He moved leisurely, almost like a predator who's onto a concerned prey, so sure of himself.”

Stacy arrives in Hawaii with one goal: get Jordan Lewis to teach her to surf. She knows the basics, but she wants to take her skills to the next step. And Jordan is the key to getting her there. The only problem is that Jordan is grumpy and less than interested. Not being one to take no for an answer, Stacy continues to pursue Jordan. And as sure as the waves lapping the shore, she catches him. But is it too good to be true?

I loved the scenery in this book. And the build-up. The characters. Zoe Adams has such a gift for developing her characters and enduring them to the reader very quickly.

I enjoyed the vulnerability that both Jordan and Stacy have and that despite them both being attractive, they have depth and sincerity that makes them real. The build for this story is intense and passionate. The connection between Stacy and Jordan is genuine and authentic, and they connect deeply.

There is more to Jordan than we see in this book, thankfully this is only part one, and we end on quite the cliff hanger, regarding everything we think we know.

There is a lot more depth and dimension to Stacy than meets the eye. Sure, she’s gorgeous. And she has money. But she is smart, stubborn, persistent, and incredibly loving. She has a loyalty to her and an immense desire to tackle anything she sets her mind to, whether surfing or telling Jordan off for being a jerk.

This is a charming and sexy start to what is sure to be another fantastic series from Zoe Adams. I cannot wait for part two!
