This book was another great read written by Ms Dark. While I agree with some reviews that it fell just a tad off from some of the earlier books but was still entertaining. We learned more about Houdini- and why he is different, that is if you were paying attention AND to me to atmosphere of the house is now more Family than Mercenary. I guess I saw this book as a little transitional in nature with placing the chess pieces on the new board and readying for a new game.

Much better than I expected after I read some of the reviews. I actually really liked this book, one of the better ones in the series. Can't wait for the next one!

This book is a lot of filler, but it's important filler. After the wildness of the previous book, everyone's resting and trying to get their heads on straight. Shepherd has a lot to work through, Christian and Raven are struggling with their relationship, and there's a new character who is absolutely horrible and I am ready for her to be offed.

Nice to see some progress in the personal growth area for the MC, and a change in circumstance.

These books destroy me every time I read them. I sit down, and I don't stop until I'm finished, because I HAVE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS.
This book was no exception. I loved learning more about Raven and Crush, and getting all these extra tidbits about the characters was amazing. Shepherd is probably my favorite character, which I really didn't see coming when Raven first dropped into Keystone. Seriously, I love these books, and if you're already looking at book 6, I'm sure you're a little familiar with them as well. You won't be disappointed, I promise ♥

I'm thinking this will be the last book I read in the series. It's fallen off and become very predictable. I don't overly care about the characters anymore and I don't want to read repetitive story lines. It was a great run and I did enjoy Raven and Christian (and I guess the others) for a bit, but their time is up.

Nevermore was a very good story, but I was sure it was going to be the last in the Crossbreed series - and I don't really understand why there will be more books. Don't get me wrong - I love the characters, the world, and everything going on here - but it just feels like it's being dragged out a little bit now.
There was a lot going on, especially because Raven was able to spend some time with a special someone she hadn't seen in a long time. And that was definitely balm for the heart (both hers and mine!). With some new players on the scene, there were also some drama that couldn't get avoided.
