Nevermore was a very good story, but I was sure it was going to be the last in the Crossbreed series - and I don't really understand why there will be more books. Don't get me wrong - I love the characters, the world, and everything going on here - but it just feels like it's being dragged out a little bit now.
There was a lot going on, especially because Raven was able to spend some time with a special someone she hadn't seen in a long time. And that was definitely balm for the heart (both hers and mine!). With some new players on the scene, there were also some drama that couldn't get avoided.

Love this series.
Been listening to this pool side while on holiday, was addicted to it.
Narrator is as usual amazing. Probably makes this story even better.
Romance between Christian and Raven has been amazing. This book was Raven going home after finding out her dad is a trusted human and the wolves have been in her life forever. Finding out that her dad also owed a lot of money to the loan sharks was interesting.
This book delves a lot into her past and it was a nice change

Once again, the author snared me. I usually get bored with series longer than 4 books, yet im immediately starting the next book. I even cried at one point during this one. Im in love with these books

Am I the only person who is beyond annoyed with Raven? She contradicts herself right and left and makes idiotic decisions. She hates to ask for help and won't ask anyone, oh except the beautiful new intimidating female vampire... that sounds like the first place to start. (Insert Eye Roll)
And she gets so mad at Christian for every little thing, but she is far from perfect!
And let's talk about Christian for a minute. I wanted so much MORE from him. He let her walk out after an argument and didn't contact her as the weeks passed. Would he have ever contacted her if she didn't show back up? We never get enough of his thoughts and when we do, his feelings are really confused and mild. Now that tattoo… swoon… that was a moment of perfection. The way he revealed it. Gaw, I loved him in that moment.
BUT, DD never gives me enough emotion. The characters are almost too hard. They don’t run for each other after a big fight to make sure they’re ok, they don’t worry sick about the other’s safety, they don’t declare feelings much until the last 5 minutes of each book. Don’t get me wrong, I have enjoyed them, but I want MORE!

One of the things about this author that I like; she gives you a complete story. Will there be more? I think so. Do you get the answers you were looking for? Yes, although she surprises me most of the time with how we get the answers. I truly enjoyed this coming together story for Christian & Raven. It's romantic, it's thrilling and it's just what the series needed to move forward, IMHO.

The book felt like filler and the Raven Christian back and forth is getting very old.

I liked the relationship and character development in this installment, but the action was lacking.

What can I say. She did it again!! Dannika made me cry, excited and laugh. You can’t get better than that!!
This book is a bit slower than the others but I love how it took the time to share between Raven and her Dad!!! Their relationship is like no other.
Switch!!!! I need to learn more about him. Maybe he can help Hunter and become part of keystone!
Just wishful thinking.
Houdini—-still can’t figure him out. He definitely needs an intro book of how he came about. What is his end game??

Can’t get enough!
The Crossbreed series is one of my all time favorites and Dannika Dark didn’t disappoint with Nevermore!
If you’ve gotten this far in the series there’s no reason to recap the fantastic world-building, or how amazingly well developed each of the characters are. They are honestly so real that finishing a book is like leaving family behind. The term book hangover doesn’t do it justice, it’s more like homesickness.
So, in Nevermore we’re really delving more into the lives and history of Raven and Christian. We learn about the events and people of their past, and who played an important role in determining who they are in the present. Some new characters are introduced, and some names mentioned in previous books are brought to life of these pages... some deliciously good, and some I would rather throat punch than read about.
Houdini makes a few appearances just to tease us, and I love every second of it. I know we’re supposed to hate him, but he’s wickedly intriguing to me. I slurp up his snippets like a Houdini addict.
I wish I could pace myself so the books could last longer. But I cannot. I can’t get enough.
