I vastly enjoyed this book. Verminort was absolutely hilarious and delightful and fit really well with precocious Jack. Edgar was really well written as someone utterly vile and deplorable, I could almost smell his disgusting self through the pages. I felt Edgar was a little too well spoken for what his character was meant to be with some vocabulary words that I wouldn't think he would have in his little brain, but nonetheless he was very well done. The pacing of the book was well done, pulling you in right away and pulling it through to a satisfying ending.
