Loved the stalker plot, and the romance won me over in the end. I love age gap romances, but I'm kind of over the whole "he's x years younger than me so I must push him away because [insert stupid reason that doesn't make sense]". It's always the same in every age gap romance I've read so far and honestly, if anyone can recommend me an MM age gap romance where the age gap isn't used as a plot device for unnecessary angst, please!! For my sanity! Just once, I'd love an age gap romance where they're like "oh yeah, there's a big age gap between us but who tf cares?". Sorry, but it's becoming a massive pet peeve for me. :')

Still, the stalker plot had me on edge the whole time and once Zach extracted his head from his *** when it came to Drew, I was all in with the romance too. As I understand it, book 4 of this series will continue this story - sort of. As in, that will be Sawyer, Grant & Mason's story. I am super excited for that because I do love a good MMM romance and I already know - after the events of this book - there's gonna be a big dose of hurt/comfort in that one. But first, on to book 3, Ryder & Avery's book, which I've been dying for.

And I'm not at all mourning the fact that I'm almost out of Jaclyn Quinn books to binge. Not at all.
*that's a lie, I totally am.*

Zach’s hesitation with his age, him being too old for Drew was annoying. But overall a good addition to this series. This can be a standalone, I forgot a lot of the characters from the first book and I didn’t feel too lost in this book.

Kirt Graves does a great job of the narration!

Dramatic and thrilling! Jaclyn had me intrigued from the beginning!!

This was the first story I’ve read by this author and wow what a thrilling journey. I loved both Zach and Drew. I loved Drew’s confidence, sass, and shameless flirting. He knows what he wants and it’s afraid to go for it. Zach, while pensive and (over) protective is a great balance for Drew and I’m so glad he finally admitted his feelings, any wrongdoings, and love for Drew wholeheartedly without too much back and forth.

The thrilling stalker side of the story was interesting and it kept me guessing for quite a while. I love a good thriller and this one had an interesting twist. Jaclyn did the creepy stalker aspect really well. I’m intrigued by her mind and enjoyed the scare elements.

I really enjoyed this story and now need to go back and read book 1 and the original Haven’s Cove Series. A great thriller/romance ❤ !! I also really look forward to knowing more about Sawyer’s story and hope there’s a MMM story Beyond the Cove soon!!

I’ve also got to add, I love it when a cover matches the characters!!! Another great design by Cate Ashwood!!!

Fantastic series

This story revolves around Zack and Drew. We can see the electricity between them and so can they but Zack is trying so hard to resist it. He seems hung up on the age gap despite his friends and mum telling him it isn't an issue. Drew is more than aware of the effect he has on Zack and directs innuendo at him in most conversations. When Zach finally gives into temptation we are presented with really hot scenes, combustion consumes them both, paralysed by overwhelming lust. This author writes sex scenes so well, no skimping and full on descriptions, palpable heartbeats and dripping with emotion. Running alongside the budding romance is a stalker storyline which ups the intensity and adds angst to the story. The story then takes a diversion as the stalking mystery takes over, this creates lots of drama with a real twist. We meet lots of secondary characters and the storyline helps draw other character's personalities out. We can see other possible couples emerging, which will be fun to watch. I loved watching Zack and Drew sort themselves out, they are a perfect pair. I'm really enjoying this series.

There is something about Jaclyn Quinn’s writing that I just fell in love with. She’s one of the first M/M authors I ever read. Her characters and stories just drew me in from the start.

Zach, my giant teddy bear! Protective Zach just brings all the feels and complete love. Drew my adorable little teddy bear! Drew has that personality that just keeps you reading. Drew is out spoken and takes no shit from no one and it’s a pleasure to see! Oh the tears! Happy, sad, they were all over the place! Zach and Drew have their moments but come together and boy when they come together! Hot, hot, hot! Love them.

Oh and the stalker reveal... never saw that shit coming! Excellent work!!
