i read the older version of this book, and I loved it.  The combination of the illustrations, and the text is stunning.  The author has a beautiful balance between the narrative story and providing information about Tasmanian devils.   I would be interested to know if the new edition has more up to date information about the risk of extinction.  Final note, I love that the author is clear that they gained permission for the use of the Aboriginal word Purinina.
