My previous reviews of these books still stand. They keep getting more and more interesting and complicated with each passing story. I remain excited to keep reading.

This book was a great read, and really progressed from the first one. I'm not always completely satisfied with the writing style but I still really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read the final installment. I recommend it to teenage readers who like fantasy mixed in with everyday life.

I’m enjoying my reread of this series quite a bit, and as I don’t think I’ve read the last two books, I imagine it will be quite interesting to see where everything goes. However, the references to Postman Pat and the very thinly-veiled reference to Doctor Who? This is set in early 00s Massachusetts, but sure, okay.

Okay, there's a Chapter in here that I just got to called In The Days Of The Premen... Chris... Chris... I'm not even DONE with the chapter yet and this is better/more intriguing/more interesting than anything you've written so far. I want THAT story, I want to read about what happened back THEN more... You obviously have ideas and concepts that are interesting (seen now with this chapter), but this current story line is just... no.

I have now finished the book... out of the four books I've read so far, this one is the best. The best in this case does not mean much as the first three books are such utter trash and drudgery that it takes me MONTHS to finish one children's book. There are pieces in this book, as stated above with the one chapter that was actually interesting, there are pieces that could make an interesting book or series. What this author settled on telling though is so boring.

I was going to donate all these books after I was finished with them, but I don't think I will now. Not because they are worth keeping for what's inside, but because they are worth keeping for the lesson to teach myself. That old saying: "Don't judge a book by it's cover." These covers made child me reach for and buy them. They are beautiful. The artist should be congratulated; no doubt it was the covers that got most of people to pick up these books. Usually the saying is meant to teach you about not looking at something less than perfect or dirty and disregarding it due to that. I learned that part of the lesson long ago. Only when I started reading these dreadful books did I learn the other side to the coin. Do not look at something appealing and pretty and think highly of what it is just because of the looks.

The shame will live on with me as long as I live. I will not donate these books until I am SURE that I have learned this lesson well.

As always, steer clear of these books.
