This story begins with the capture of our main character who is given a choice: Join the secret Guild of Villains, or die. Hayes creates a wonderful world of superheros (and supervillains) that instantly pulled me in and it was hard to stop. This book is over 700 pages and could have easily been broken into 3 books, but I was still sad when it ended. Powers, romance, secrets, deception and some amazing character development. I already bought the 2nd book (which is even longer) and plan to start reading it immediately. I will also be looking into this Author's other books as they are all rated just as high by his fans.

I've liked many previous books by Drew Hayes, but I'd put off this series because it seemed too similar to the other super hero series he'd written.
I was greatly mistaken. This is so stand alone, it's fantastic.
This is just a fun super hero/super villain story with a lot of thought put into the world.
I like that there are Events that cause heroes and villains to be created. It's a really fun idea that we've seen in comics, but never really on purpose.
I just really enjoyed this.

Not as good as Super powereds, but still a decent read. Its really long, but doesn't feel too long.
