Overall, the book was an easy and quick read and because the writing was amazing, the storyline gives me the creeps and it was overall brilliant I gave it four stars. I cannot wait for the next book in the series and see how much Lucian is going to cause so much trouble and how much Garcia is going to want to get him as well as Robert.

As usual, Chris Carters writing is fast paced and pretty easy to digest. If you ignore all the murder that is. For a police procedural/thriller it’s not overly bogged down in jargon but equally you feel it’s somewhat accurate. I will say though, I still don’t love how he speaks about women.
If you like thrillers, serial killers, and fast paced books then give this series a go for sure!

This book wasn’t as good as the previous books. The book founds a joint investigation with Hunter and Garcia and the FBI. Throughout the book I just got annoyed with a characters because I felt that all she kept doing was moaning.
I still love the banter between Hunter and Garcia, and I really liked Special Agent Williams too. There were moments that I couldn’t stop smiling and other moments that I was chuckling at. But I think I enjoy the book more when it’s just Hunter and Garcia.
I did like how the author included a disabled child into this book, and I understand how cruel and horrible killers can be. But I just didn’t like what the killer called that child.
Maybe I am just picking too much at this book, but it’s just how I felt as I went along with the story.
However, the cliffhanger at the end of book just left me with a ‘oh no’ moment, that I am excited to see what happens. I feel like it will be teamed up with the FBI again but hopefully it will be better x
