This is the sixth book in the Millenium series originated by Stieg Larsson and written by David Lagercrantz. English translation by George Golding.
The writing style is very much in imitation of Larsson's in the earlier books, so if you're happy with that you'll enjoy this more than I did.
As a thriller, the book is sadly lacking in action: what action there is takes place mostly over 20 or 30 pages in the second half. The style is very discursive; every step in the plot is packed out with long detailed descriptions of what the characters are doing, thinking, what their history is or what the press are saying about them.  Despite this overload of detail, I came away with no real feel for the characters and who they really were. By the end of the book I was left with a very empty feeling and the realisation that little had changed for any of the characters (and that the writer doesn't really know anything about climbing).

this one was okay, it felt like they tried to put too much into too short of a book. It felt rushed. I also don't know if there's a spin-off series only in Swedish, but the ending just seemed to not really be a full ending to a series.
