Whenever I read Urasawa, I'm struck with this profound sense of melancholy that sits atop me like Natre's ghost from Shutter.

It's nothing short of genius the way he juxtaposes the child-like wonder with middle-age crisis while effortlessly flickering between different time periods to give the reader a sense of festering evil that is about to reach its boiling point.

Masterful. Cannot wait to read more.

Promising start to a new series by Naoki Urawasa. A kind of Japanese Stand By Me mixed with Lost, with great storytelling and art.

Probably the best story arc of any comic literature I have ever read so far. Got me really glued to the reader till I finished the volume. If this was being serialised while I was reading, I would have died of anticipation and excitement.
