Excellent quick read. Had me tearing up only 22 pages in. Perfect companion on a cold, snowy January day.

I have an unfortunate habit of starting to mirror characters in the media I consume, for better or for worse. At the halfway point, I was nervous that it would make me miserable. Nora Seed, however, contains multitudes. This book was a delight. Although I correctly predicted the ending and the plot itself was very easy to divine, I still had a good time watching Nora's journey. Definitely a good addition to my library.

I understand why this book isn't for everyone. It certainly is for me, however.

this book feels like ...

know when some tragedy strikes and people say how they're always there if you need someone or there's always something to live for? they generally mean it, but it comes off trite instead of meaningfully.

that's what this book feels like. like this is how someone sees the ease of overcoming depression and ideation. all you need is love. all you need to do is wait a few more minutes. nora did what she was supposed to do, but when she needed people, they weren't there. instead, she went on an adventure of pop psychology and pop quantum physics and decided life was worth living after all because she did mean something to people (who never told her she mattered).

this book might have some interesting events (polar bear) but mostly not.

the most important lesson here is tell people they matter to you.

It wraps up the entire book neatly. It's a cute read. It doesn't put across anything profound and may feel dull at times, cringey even- but, I guess that's what happens when you reflect on your emotions.
