Audiobook Review: This book contains some dark themes, but is a beautifully written and artfully told story about navigating regret and remorse in one's life decisions, particularly when finding yourself "stuck" in what feels like a dead-end. It has mystical elements as the main character, Nora, finds herself in a surprising first phase of the afterlife, the Midnight Library, where she has the opportunity to sample the lives she almost had. Ultimately the story winds around to focusing on finding joy and passion for one's own life and choosing to live without regret.

"You don't have to understand life, you have to live it."
