It's sort of similar to a self-help book even though it's not. I guess in a way it is a self-help book that I didn't even know I needed.

I enjoyed this book about misfits - I especially enjoyed how she included stories of other misfits written by themselves. It left me with a lot to think about - about how it is to not fit in and what that can feel or look like and how we connect to others with their own ways of not fitting, also of how we look at trauma, fear and shame.

Part memoir, part people's history. This quick read made me tear up at least twice and shook me twice as much. A lovely tribute to those that don't fit comfortably by any standard. Or those that can fake it. Or those that don't make it. Or really all of us to some fashion.

Highly enjoyed this book, had a lot of good things to say and was very relatable at times. Good Book to listen to on my journey to find and get myself

Spectacular. I love her writing so much. I just want to shove her words into my face, always.

I will reread this a million times before I die, if there is enough time. There aren't really any words to explain what I got from this or what it means to me. So I'll leave it at that. If you're a misfit, I hope you read it too.
