I’m still in my ✨omegaverse era✨ If you want an easy to read omegaverse book to dive into - I’d recommend this one. (Check triggers though!)

I thought the characters were charming and fun to read about, but there was something ever so slightly off for me. My guess - the pacing was a smidge off. But other than that, I feel like I simply inhaled this and could’ve read it in one sitting if I had the time.

The thing I really found interesting in this one is the concept that bonds & scent matches aren’t forever or final. I like the idea of basically being able to divorce or leave anyone you deem unfit to be with, etc. We love to see it 👏🏻

Ollie & Julian were my favs ❤️ I’ll be reading book two most likely!

I definitely felt for Juno in the book and fell in love with her new pack all at the same time. The trauma that this Omega goes through was just insane. The pack was so perfectly balanced to accommodate everything that she didn't even know she needed to move on from her past.

Left me hanging with drama on the cusp of happening and knew I was going to have to find out what happened next!

This book was an impulse read fueled by the many recs I saw obsessing over the author’s scent descriptions. Normally I avoid any rejected mate or bond-broken books because I just like the fated mates trope too much, but I’m so glad I grabbed this one.

Like everyone else, I am utterly entranced with Lee’s evocative scent descriptions and the way they change to incorporate each other when more than one scent is present.

I even love the nontraditional pack dynamics and the acceptance of platonic pack members.

The writing is great, the banter top notch, and the story feels airy and visceral by turns.

I’ve had a great time and I’ll be starting the second book as soon as I post this review. If it’s anywhere near as good as this one, they’ll both go on my physical bookshelf.

I have literally one criticism of this book and it's that I don't personally don't like the smell of peaches and so the constant repetition of how good Juno smelled in her peaches and cream way was a bit grim. Clearly that is a me issue I'm going to work on because this story was great and as soon as I finish writing this review I'm diving into book 2.

I appreciated how different all of the MMCs were in this - it can be easy in these stories for them to all blend into the same person, but each one here consistently had their own distinct personality. Within the constraints of the size of the book and the number of Ms being dealt with the progress of the relationships didn't feel forced, either. Excited to see how it all pans out!

For onegaverse, this was really well written. A few editing errors.

I loved the diversity, and that she has a traumatic background, but I’d still consider this book “light-ish” ‘cuz they don’t have a lot of explicit detail on the abuse.

Mild spoiler
Isaac needs to kiss her and het his head out of his ass already

this is the omegaverse book I needed in my life! the author's descriptions are beautifully done and heavy topics were handled with such care.
I love the diverse cast of characters, they were all very well done.  I always have a soft spot for betas in packs, so I love that Isaac (Prime alpha) made it clear that Miles (his beta bondmate) was able to pursue a relationship with Juno when they met and had a connection! Also how welcoming he was of Julian?!  He's got a soft spot for them as much as I do🥹🩷
this is my first experience with an omegaverse where bonds able to be broken (outside of passing) and scent matching doesn't automatically mean you're relationship is meant to be. I actually love this take and I cannot wait to get my hands on part 2 and hopefully get more books in the series!
crossing my fingers that we get Hazel's book, Juno's close friend! a SWer omega who's finding her footing after moving outside of the Omega Village and her story outside of Juno's knowledge of her would be amazing! With Sophia/Sage North's book to follow as well, maybe, since her story was such a big scandal that Juno found out about before her bonds got dissolved!
