I just read another new book by a fairly new author, Faith Gibson. She never ceases to amaze me with her imagination. Faith’s book is “Gregor” (The Stone Society Series book 2) it is about these sexy hunky Gargoyles. Yes I said Gargoyles and man are they HOT!
This book is about Gregor Stone (a Warden at the Penitentiary and Tessa (who helps all the half blood gargoyles through the transition from human to gargoyle. She helps them learn to control their body, fangs, claws etc.)
Oh and the ending of the book was SO VERY HOT, I should say the beginning, middle and ending are HOT too. But, I especially loved the ending of Gregor! And I don’t think I will give too much away when I say they make it to the Mile High Club!
Now I can’t wait for Dante the next Gargoyle to be written about in The Stone Society Series and of course Dante is a sexy hunk and you will hear more about him in Gregor! I give Gregor some very serious 5.0 OOOOO’s (O’s for Orgasms)

This series could be great. Reminiscent of BDB and IAD, in both good ways and bad. As much as I enjoy reading this type of series, they are severely problematic in terms of appropriation without representation. Lots of "urban" slang and pop culture, no brown skinned H/h.
Books full of fantastical creatures, worlds, mythology, history and so forth. Series made up of over a half dozen to sometimes several dozen books, couples, spanning decades and in some instances millennia, but not one heroine or female love interest with brown skin. I'm only on book 3 in this particular series, but I'm not seeing anything in forth coming books that will prove me wrong.
This looks as though it's going to be another series, again very much like Black Dagger Brotherhood and Immortals After Dark, with 10 books or more. Paranormal, fantasy, otherworldly, even found space for LGBTQ storyline. In all their wonderful imagination, where is the racial diversity? Every one can imagine every thing in the universe except main characters with brown skin?
Thank goodness for Shelly Laurenston/GA Aiken, Eve Langlais, Kassanna, Ann Mayburn, and a few others.
Do better.

Oh my word I hated Tessa. Gregor deserved better than her. Ugh she was so frustrating!!! However everyone else wasn’t too bad. Ugh...she’s such a bitch I really can’t even.
Better than the first. I really enjoyed Gregor and Tessa's relationship. Grrr now I have to wait for the next book to be released.
