Journey to Constellation Station from debut picture book author @lindsaycbarry takes the reader on a nighttime journey from Earth or outer space. As a teacher, I enjoy the journey itself introduces students to words such as meteor, black hole, and satellite. (It does not provide definitions or detailed illustrations.) The rhyming journey brings me to my favorite part, the constellations. Clear and bold illustrations by @branwellington show each constellation with their stars laid out and connected providing the reader a clear visual. This book would be a great addition to a classroom library. #kidlitexchange #kidlit #picturebook #outerspace #constellations

This book quickly became a bedtime favorite, especially with my oldest (5). He loves the rhymes and tracing the constellations. We read this story before bed and he always talks about riding the train to Constellation Station and finding new stars and planets that no one has ever seen. This book is educational, teaching about some of our favorite constellations, but it also encourages so much imagination and imaginative play. We love and HIGHLY recommend this book. Especially if your kid(s) have even a remote interest in outer space.
