Oof the death of Envy was A LOT. Like, obviously the battles were all progressing this volume and so much happened. (Al being a BAMF) but Envy, that was so intense. From turning into Hughes, to Riza having to hold Roy back...to the final end when Envy yeets from their mortal coil. It was a lot.

These volumes hit right in my heart and also in the adrenaline w all the battling and such. Very action packed.

This is one of the best volumes of the series and is hard to put down. Essentially every character that has been introduced plays a role in a meaningful way. The fact that Maes Hughes death is finally being resolved all the way in volume 23 shows the fine writing and character development of the series. It’s also nice to see Mustang get in on the action.

Action-packed, thickening plot, three-dimensional characters, and humor drizzled on each character, Fullmetal Alchemist is a book that should definitely be read by all. Left me with tears in my eyes and a warm heart for every character that you meet along Ed and Al's long journey.

Quiero mucho a Mustang. Y a Riza. Y creo que ya por fin aprecio a Scar.
