I liked the story it was very interesting, but I felt it was a little long. At times it seemed as though nothing would change. The story in the middle was a constant repeat of Anna getting lost in her desires with Ashton and the next day feeling distraught and guilty because of Jack. It was good don't get me wrong, but was a long read and not a very riveting read.

I really liked this book but there were a couple of things that kept me from loving it. The first, and this is somewhat of a spoiler so consider yourself warned, I find the likelihood of Ashton sleeping with Anna after knowing for three days highly unlikely. This is a kid who has had no family since he was ten! He worked his ass of to become the top ranked graduate in his S.W.A.T. class and would know that sleeping with the girl he's supposed to be protecting could ruin his career forever. It just doesn't seem like something he would have risked.
My second, and biggest issue, was the lack of therapy and counseling Anna received. Granted, when we first meet her, it's understandable to she feels so broken and beyond repair that she doesn't see the point. And I understand there are a lot of things that she doesn't want to talk about. However, after the way Ashton changes her and enables her to open up, you would think that Ashton or Anna's parents would have broached the subject of therapy again. This girl had lived through hell and had some serious issues to deal with so why didn't she get the professional help she clearly needed?!
Aside from those two issues I thought this was a good book with a great storyline and I would recommend it to a friend. I've read several other books by Kristy Moseley and would continue to read her stories, she's really quite talented.

Szesnaste urodziny to ważny dzień w życiu każdej nastolatki. Anna i jej chłopak Jack postanawiają je uczcić pierwszym w swoim życiu wyjściem do klubu.
