The best part of this book was Gucci the goat! I loved this crazy funny pigmy goat and her wardrobe! Apart from this, it’s a Hollywood story, with a hot bad boy and funny Ava, who broke his foot with a little lightweight car LOL.
The day the book starts, Ava was just fired from her job. Just days prior, she had broken up with her boyfriend, but that was no big loss. And as of the next day, she was also going to be homeless. Seemed like to much for a woman to take so she understandably broke up when she left her ex-job and got into her mini car. She gave reverse and felt a bump in the parking floor. Funny, she didn’t know there was a bump and looked and saw she had stepped on a guy!
Like the responsible person she is, she got out of the car and wow! It was Hollywood’s bad boy Gabriel Evans. Except he was no darling. Foul mouthed, sarcastic and annoying, they bickered all the way to the hospital, during their stay in the hospital and after he was released, all the way to his apartment, where she was going to watch for him. Since she was jobless, she offered to help him while he had the boot, as that was the least she could do. They kept up the insults, but it turned into a game they both enjoyed. Then comes the surprise of Gucci’s appearance. Since Ava was evicted from her apartment for having a goat, Gabe decided to accept the goat into his house. The goat was more entertaining than any animal, especially the morning Gucci decided to headbutt him for a while until Ava came to the rescue.
Gabe was Ava’s crush from the first time she saw one of his movies. After she saw how nasty he could be, she lost her crush. But as days go by, and she realized that beneath the crusty exterior lies a decent person, she starts to appreciate him. Likewise, Gabe likes that Ava gives as good as she gets and doesn’t take crap from him. Really, their dialogues sometimes seems like two six year olds bickering. They were very entertaining.
Things heat up and they get cozy. But then information from Gabe’s past comes up that could harm his reputation. Ava has friends who support her and they rally around her to help. Gabe is fast to get mad but also fast to get repentant. Ava has one big word to describe her: kind. She is kind, understanding, quirky and loves her goat like it was her family. This was an even-keeled book, where we don’t get angsty scenes that make you cry, but it’s a very entertaining book about two crazy persons who are perfect for each other, together with the fantastic Gucci. And the smexy scenes were crazy good too!

When this book landed on my kindle, I opened it just to check it out and to make sure the file was good. I had plans to read it at a later time. Cut to a few hours later, I've finished this amazing book in one sitting and enjoyed every second of it.
Breaking Hollywood is so addicting. From the very first page, this book captured my attention with its witty humor and great back and forth between Gabriel and Ava. I love the characters in this one. They're so much more than they seem. Ava is so charming and sweet. I adore her and her pygmy goat. (Yes, there's a goat!!!) It's Gabriel who surprised me the most. A Hollywood superstar with demons and secrets that could ruin him. Gah! It's so good!.
I laughed. I teared up. I swooned. Breaking Hollywood is a must read. I really loved this book. I'm a fan of this authors work and Breaking Hollywood is right up there some of her other best.

Breaking Hollywood was amazeballs!!! I loved absolutely everything about this book. Gabe is the bad boy actor with a troubled past and Ava is the sweet girl who doesn't have it easy. The two of them meet under unfortunate circumstances and the story takes off from there. I love the easy banter between them and the sex.... off the charts sizzling!!! Samantha has a way of drawing her readers in and not letting them go; this book was no different. I can't wait to read what she releases next!!!

Like a fine wine, Samantha Towle's books just get better as time goes on. I have to admit she's one of the authors I read that I have an exceptionally high bar for. But she consistently puts out books that are better than her previous works.
Breaking Hollywood is a seriously delicious RomCom. It oozes with humor, sexiness and angst. It had me laughing. It had me swooning. It had me uber frustrated. But in the end, it had me smiling and satisfied.
This book is a follow up to Wardrobe Malfunction, with different main characters, it can definitely stand alone, but the first book was so fabulous you should definitely read that one too! I loved them both.

I love any book Hollywood related, I love Samantha Towel's books, this was another perfect book for me from the title to the last page. Gabriel Evans and Ava get a very interesting story, I can add Gucci the pet goat, which is the best character ever. They both start falling for Gabriel, yes I did write that correctly. Gabriel may have a playboy reputation but his rule to never sleep with employees is strong, too bad Ava is one of them and he can't resist her. You will laugh and feel a roller-coaster of emotions while reading it, but it is a very enjoyable book.
