Ummm… wow. For a book with a plot that is kind of struggling for its life, I loved it! Where there isn’t plot, there is personality, some solid childhood/family trauma (for some reason I can’t get enough of that shit 🙃) and my GODDD is there sex. All of it. All of the time.

There were some things I came across that I really didn’t expect to appreciate so much, like how much the importance of consent and pushing boundaries without hurting someone was stressed within their “relationship” and sexual activities. It is really important not only in practice but props to the author for doing such a good job including something like that and doing it well without ruining the story and tension.

Jessica had some of the most noticeable character development in this first part, which was more than necessary. She wasn’t only a shitty person but she was shallow and self-absorbed.

I really dug the idea of a hot, popular girl who could have anyone she wants choosing a group of men who are deemed by society as filthy, degenerates. She sees what’s underneath the surface, even if that isn’t clear sometimes.

The boys are all so different. While, yes, Manson is familiar and incredibly easy to like… my heart is drawn to Jason and the traumatized, curious parts of me are drawn to Lucas. I feel like they are both going to be the easiest for me to love when this is all said and done. But honestly, I do love them all. (Vince, you’re kindamy least favorite… and I think it might be the hair, weirdly. Sorry, my dude).

Surprisingly loved the car aspects of this. It’s like a kinky af fast and furious at times and I’m here for it.

Books like this continually surprise me and show me that I do in fact enjoy things I never expected to enjoy. Sometimes those things include four dudes who love on one girl. And each other. 🥵
And who do and say ALL of the filthy things. But you know what? Self discoveries are cool and you never know when you’re going to learn something new about yourself. 😉

I know how people react when talking about this book. It’s porn, people say. You should be ashamed of yourself and blah blah blah. But this book isn’t just erotica (cause erotica and porn are different things but I won’t get into that) it shows a found family and how despite being an adult you could still feel lost and GOD I LOVED IT!!!! There are scenes that would forever be ingrained in my mind, but God I loved reading the cute scenes just as much as I loved reading the spicy scenes. I loved Harley Laroux’s writing and the way they write sex scenes. It was just beautiful. They were kinky, yes but they were also cute, and they went into detail of after care and God, I loved it.

I really enjoyed this book. Definitely a hot and heavy read. Handled poly relationship dynamics well. FMC definitely had her own demons to battle.

Lacked plot a little especially leading into book two otherwise it would have been a five star.

This book is 🔥🔥straight fire. Jess is all muddled up in a revenge/payment system poly relationship with the 4 "Losers" from high school. And she is to do whatever they say, whenever they say it.

She should have just moved in. That would have been easier. But whatever.

My only criticism is that it isn't high school anymore. These are college graduates/working age people. First there isn't much work going on for anyone. Second, it's very high school. Illegal drag races, bonfires and house parties, caring what your friends say about who you're seen with, sneaking around so your mom doesn't see your boyfriend? She's probably 22-ish. This is stuff for 16 year olds. It was really distracting. I'm like who tf cares what Danielle says about Manson. Just hop on that thing and ride it already.

Other than that, I loved it. The guys are all great in their own ways. And I love how they all love each other. The sex was fire. Jess was not a nice person and does not deserve those screaming orgasms. But that's ok. Everyone deserves screaming orgasms I guess.

The audio was turrible. I quit in chapter 7 I think and bought the Kindle version. The male narrator was so bad.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It is dark, it is emotional and it is SEXY. I love the fact that everyone has somewhat of an arch with Jess and even Jess’ character develops so well. I am not a fan of bully romances but this one was done well. Not only was Jess (as the bully) remorseful about her actions, there were moments in the past when she was doing the bullying where she felt remorse and also when she showed kindness and empathy towards her victims. The way they each fell for Jess and Jess fell for them in return was so well done and written. I have a soft spot for Lucan and can’t wait to read the 2nd part.
