A fabulously written horror that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout! A novelisation of the slasher film. Some truly gory scenes, plenty of shocks & an intriguing story!
I loved the pacing of this story & the suspense created. I devoured this in one sitting & will definitely be back for more of Joshua’s work.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review & am thankful for it to both Joshua & BookSirens!
Update: I watched the movie after reading this & in my opinion this book is so much better. In the book the story has much more impact & kept me more intrigued.

Thanks to BookSirens for the ARC. I didn't love this book but I thought it seemed like a pretty good novelisation; I just think the content suited itself better to a visual medium. The written format lacked tension for me. Some of the reveals felt very obvious, though one was a clever surprise. I found everyone very superficial, and maybe this is because more is conveyed through facial expressions and gestures in the film, but I thought a lot of the characterisation was unconvincing.

This was a good book! It's dark and I liked it!
The whole story was interesting and kept me on my toes.
