First let me just say, I'm not really a fan of BDSM. I've learned that I can still enjoy a book with it if I like the couple and the writing, so I hate to pass up books just because of that aspect. This is one of those times it worked out in my favor.

Sierra Cartwritght is a new author to me and I was captivated by this couple. The only thing keeping this book from a 5 star read for me was I craved more! The storyline is only one weeks time and if we got more of this couple after the big reveal in the last chapter, I would have loved this book so much more.

Nathan's family company is taking over the company Kelsey works for. On day one, he finds out she is being invited to the BDSM club his brother manages and he invites her out to dinner in pretense to get to know her so that he can offer to take her to the club. I should mention here that in the Prologue, Nathan has seen a picture of Kelsey and had an immediate reaction to her image. The author expresses his attraction to her even more once they meet on the first day at work, so this invitation is not out of the blue. I did think it was pretty bold to approach her on the first day, but he is a Dom and really, aren't they known for going after what they want? It didn't seem too out of the realm of possibilities to me.

The rest of the story is him learning what she knows about BDSM, which is barely anything, and him training her in the days to follow, before he takes her to the club. It had a tendency to feel like you are reading BDSM 101 at times and except for a few thoughts from Nathan, it was almost too cold of a relationship. It was the last chapter that made me realize the author did that on purpose and really what made me crave more of this couple. Because of this, it made the ending feel just a little abrupt.

Sexy, easy read

Boss is Nathan and Kelsey’s story. I had been wanting to read his story for a while so I am very happy to finally get the chance. Can you say HOT? Because that is what this book is! Hot, Hot, Hot!!!

All these Donovan men are total Alpha’s & into BDSM. Although, I think Nathan may be into it even more than his other siblings. Nathan may be the youngest sibling but, that means nothing because let me tell you he is all Alpha MALE and all Donovan men have had to learn from the women in their lives. Even though the women are submissive they are not push overs and they are strong women.

Boss doesn’t end in a cliffhanger and I got my HEA but, I didn’t want this book to end. Okay Sierra Cartwright I am ready for Julien Bonds story.

Boss was not an ARC. I have discovered another author that I will be following. I am in love with her stories.

I really enjoyed this book a great addition to a super series by a great author.Its well written with a great story line and well developed characters.Just loved the chemistry between Nathan and Kelsey it was smoking i really liked this and would recommend you wont be able to put it down.

Boss is book 3 in The Donovan Dynasty series. I haven't yet read the others but now knowing how hot they are have added them to my TBR.

Kelsey shows up for work to find things are not the way they were Friday night. Over the course of the weekend everything has changed, she just can't figure out whether its good or not. Her old boss was her mentor. The new one has a lot to be ogled ...um desired...oh no um leaves a lot to -darn it. Just because he's hot, commanding, and exudes power does not mean she is a helpless girl- just parts of her are. Kelsey needs to keep it together or her boss will figure out that he turns her into goo.

Nathan knew how talented Kelsey was from her bio. He knows that she practically ran the company for her old boss. He knew that she was very attractive. What he didn't know was how unbelievably feisty she is, and how much it would turn him on. Fighting his body and his damn watch are going to be harder (harder-ha) than he ever thought. He can handle it until her learns of her plans for Deviation. Once that gets into his head, Nathan knows he will never be able to get her out.

This book has some WOW! scenes. Even if flogging isn't your thing, you will be turned on by the writing. I was very impressed with how well Ms. Cartwright left me panting for a flogging I wasn't even getting. She left me hot and longing for more!

Ok. I really liked this series and I really liked Nathan.

What I had an issue with was the language. I'm totally not into derogatory language even if it's intention is to be sexy. Some people may enjoy it but it just doesn't work for me.

A spellbinding, wicked ride. Nathan and Kelsey's journey was such a hot but sweet read. I really enjoyed reading how their relationship evolved as the book when on. I won't hesitate to pick up any book from this author.

Kelsey Lane what can I say about this timid yet determined girl. I only found her to be timid at the beginning of the book. But she sure knows how to speak her mind. And she isn’t willing to give up what she wants not for anything.
Getting a pretty big surprise of her life Monday morning to find not only has the name of the company she works for is no longer but she now has a new boss… Enter Mr. Hottie Mc Tottie.

Nathan Donovan is much respected, but very stand offish until you get to know him, and realise work is his life and he like it like that. He’s loyal but fair. I didn’t find much warmth from him at first. Almost as if he didn’t know how to be warm and inviting. In a business sense he makes the client or employees at ease.
Let’s say Kelsey ally cat is at the ready when she first meets this take charge business man. She doesn’t give an inch. I loved this about her.
Nathan must have seen a streak of submissive in her because he propos her to become him sub “train” her. There is a club Kelsey wants to go to and Mr. Donovan wants to escort her there.

Now here is where I was like WHAT… They meet Monday morning… and by Monday evening some pretty kinky freaking HOT stuff is going on between these two.. I won’t even go on to tell you about the rest of the week you NEED to read that yourself this book is not for the faint of heart.
If you’re in to kink… spanking… floggers… hot and dirty sexy time.. and so much more this book is for you no joke. It’s a scorcher. I read a passage to my hubby and he BLUSHED!! He is NOT a blusher. I totally teased him about it. I am evil! I had a good giggle about that.

I found Kelsey and Nathan were both seeking something and what they don’t know is that they were seeking the very same thing.
Together these two are explosive. I would have loved an epilogue to be honest I think that would have been epic but we can’t always get what we want am I right ;) I want Nathan to bend me over and…. Oh I can’t tell you that… you will have to find that out for your selves. ;)

Also where can I sign up for a Bond watch… Seriously that was freaking cool. I want a hot guy popping up in hologram form and talking to me about my eating and sleeping habits, pick me I say.

Kelsey Lane goes to work on a typical Monday morning, expecting it to be like every other work day. When Kelsey left the office on Friday, she worked for Newman Inland Marine which was now Donovan Logistics. She never in a million years expected a man like Nathan Donovan or all the changes that he brought along with him.

Immediately, Nathan is completely fascinated with Kelsey. She was not intimidated easily and he is very attracted to her. Kelsey is not a fan of overbearing men and usually runs the other way, but something about Nathan leaves her intrigued.

Kelsey and her friend Andi have decided to go to a BDSM club called Deviation. Unfortunately for her, Nathan’s brother Connor was notified and he in turn called Nathan. Kelsey had no idea, until now, that Nathan is a Dom. Nathan wants to put all of it on the table for discussion with Kelsey. Nathan takes it upon himself to teach her all about BDSM and so the fun begins.

As Kelsey shares her dreams with Nathan, he doesn’t thoroughly hear her. He focused on dominating her when all she truly wanted from him was real love with no expectations or limits. Now the race is on for Nathan to let Kelsey know he heard her, loud and clear.

We’ve all read some books with a BDSM story line and there is almost always a portrayal of a uniformed and virginal woman. This is totally not the case in this story. Kelsey interest in BDSM completely thrills Nathan and surprises him at every turn. It was nice to read a story about a women who knew what she liked and didn’t act timid and shy. A definite change of pace!

The chemistry between Nathan and Kelsey was outstanding! It was immediate and intense. Kelsey seemed to give Nathan her trust, and a little bit of sass, right away.

The sex scenes in this book are extremely hot. There is a lot of role play, a BDSM club, anal play, toys, etc. I felt it was all tastefully written, however, it may not be for some readers.

I also enjoyed the fact that Kelsey knew exactly what she wanted out of life. She was a smart, strong willed woman who walked away when she knew it just wasn’t for her. It was also nice to see the man being the one to have to figure out what he wants in life!

Sierra Cartwright is a first for me. I have not read anything by her prior to this and I have got to say that I love this book! It was wonderful to read about a woman who knew exactly what she wanted and would not budge on her morals.

I will definitely be reading the entire Donovan Dynasty Series!
