Lots and lots of flying around on dragons and nothing happening until the very end, but it was also by far the shortest book in the series so far.

A Hero’s Guide to Deadly Dragons is probably my least favorite book of the How to Train Your Dragon series so far, but I still absolutely adored it! Cressida Cowell just has this simple, mesmerizing way of telling a story and I can never seem to be bothered to dislike them. They’re absolutely perfect for reading in one sitting as well. I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the series and discover how Hiccup’s next adventure will go.

I really love this series and with every audio book I listen to, I regret more that my son doesn't speak English yet. I'd love for him to listen to them too, David Tennant does such a great job with them. As it is, I'll have to buy the German translations.

A Hero's Guide to Deadly Dragons is another mind boggling adventure that Hiccup, Fishlegs and Camicaze (not sure if I spelled that right) survive against all odds
