Enjoyed the series overall. Very nostalgic, I watched the anime up until like the volume 30 part. A little disappointed that most of the rest of it was a gigantic war arc that didn't focus on the original characters, especially that Sakura didn't get much to do. Think the author really struggled with writing women, like them having their own personal motivations that exist outside and beyond the men in their lives. Think he did a good job at writing about familial bonds / friendships and themes like hatred and love and redemption.

  • didn't love that Sasuke had to be punched in the head by Naruto to stop being a dink.
  • Was really hoping we'd see more in the epilogue. I had the couples spoiled to me a long time ago but in reading the manga I thought this part would be more fleshed out. Like how did Sasuke and Sakura get together? He was always so rude and dismissive of her. I really wanted to redeem himself of being such a weenie to her for years. I feel like the author didn't even know what to do so he doesn't even show them together after the time jump!
  • Also what happened to Orochimaru and those other people Sasuke was hanging out with?
  • Also I'm sad Kakashi lost his sharigan
  • Was everyone pregnant at the exact same time lol
